Got one of these installed on Monday along with Windows 7 64 bit and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I've read many times how everything should load up really fast and boot times of around 20 seconds.

From pressing the power button to be able to use my desktop takes around 45 seconds. Opening up documents, iTunes etc all seem to take the same amount of time as it did on Vista 64 with a mechanical drive.

I realise that my cpu is now a little dated (Q6600) and I'm sure there are other factors involved but I expected alot more from it, especially for the cost.

Maybe something is not set up right. Is there anything I can do to maximise the capabilites of this drive? Any help appreciated.
